Who We Are

SathiPlus Foundation, Inc. is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the well-being, dignity, and quality of life of South Asian seniors, immigrants, families, and underserved community members.

The word “Sathi” means companion - someone who walks alongside you. That meaning is at the heart of our work. We exist to ensure that no one feels alone while navigating aging, cultural transitions, social isolation, or everyday life challenges.

Get to know us

SathiPlus Foundation was created to address the growing need for culturally responsive, community-centered support that goes beyond basic assistance. Many seniors and immigrant families face language barriers, social isolation, limited access to resources, and a lack of culturally familiar spaces. Our programs are designed to meet these needs with compassion, respect, and understanding.

We focus on prevention, connection, education, and empowerment, helping individuals remain active, informed, and engaged in their communities.
